RJ238 into CYUL

Heard 238 divert into CYUL today en rte to KORD due lack of motion lotion. Firstly a crucifying day re block hours , 2nd a A332.....surely at the utter limit of their endurance.

It is always this tight re above?

Severe headwinds are a problem on that route especially at this time of the year. Northern Europe are experiencing some unseasonal weather atm with higher than normal temperatures and stronger westerlies which are costing airlines a fortune in extra fuel. Looks like a case of 2 steps forward 1 back.
