EK interview shortlist for FO'S

Hi All

I would like somebody in the know to please tell me when interviews
for first officers will resume? I have been shortlisted and got the standard
reply, but as I understand it, they are still only busy interviewing
for the DEC positions.
I have read the other thread about the holding pool for those who
have already been through the interview process, and the A380 seems
to have been a spanner in the works, but nothing has been mentioned
about when FO interviews will recommence.

Word on the street is that invitations will go out around the new year for FO selections... Give or take. Keeping in mind, airlines change their plans by the minute.

Shortlisted sice the 2nd of December 2011 and nothing so far.
Waiting for news but it's really hard with no idea about when.

Rumoured to be around the end of this year. It may be that with the retention of some of the A343's that the required numbers will rise, which may start the ball rolling earlier than planned.

Shortlisted Pond

Hi guys,
As you can see, there are two swimming area: the "Shortlisted pond" and the "Hold pool".
I've read the pool has been started to drain.
My application form is still there with the "Shortlisted" status awaiting for the call for the interview invitation. Basically, I'm swimming in the pond with no news from December 2011. Has anybody got some fresh news from the EK to share about new, ongoing or about to start again?

I am shortlisted from feb 2012 , since then no news , I've heard that they are going to start again soon.I think this is correct if you consider that they have put an advertisement again at flight international web at 2 of Oct.

A little more patience, our time for the interview will come (sooner or later) as they are currently draining their holding pool + advertising back + A380 entering the fleet again. From several inside source (ex-colleagues working for EK now) the recruiting machine will start up again if not already.

Shortlisted since July 2011! Pre selection done Sep 2011, sim end of Oct 2011. Licence unfrozen end of Dec 2011, with new licence arriving beginning of January 2012! Still shortlisted and waiting for last 2 days of interview in Dubai. Lets just say its been a painful wait, and really regretting now not unfreezing my licence in 2010! Here's hoping we hear something soon! 3200hrs 737.

There won't be invitations for at least another month... Then it will be dictaed by your strength in the pool.

I take it nobody has any information on the interviews for those that have been short listed (not that you are guaranteed getting one!)? Hopefully the ball will start rolling soon for FOs
