Preferred B777

Hello all,

Clearly there are a lot of B777 pilots in the Middle East, collectively flying all variants.

Following inconclusive searches of these forums, I'd like to know what the consensus is on the favourite variant to fly and for what reasons.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
scanman24

An empty -200F is my fav. Short of a fighter, can't think of an aircraft that has that kind of performance.

The 200F. Good performer, .89, and no drama or issues on board.

200F for flying, for all the reasons previously spoken about, landing the 300ER because its the easiest, the 200F is a handful when its light, don't mention the 300 when it comes to landing.

I'm flying -300ER, -200LR and -200F. My personal favorite is a heavy -300ER.
The most stable, easy to handle and land aircraft I've ever flown.
Cheers!

If your in the mood for fun, flying an empty B77F is absolute magic. Landing a heavy 777-300ER is nice too. Overall no matter which variant, it is a great plane to fly, I just wish they could build a nice seat for it.

I am surprised this thread has lasted so far without turning into an Airbus v Boeing clownfest

Still not as good as a empty B777F.

Trust me, been there done both

Islamabad - Hong Kong
T/O max reduction(Flex).
Climb Profile 250 to 10000', 340/0.84.
Brake release to FL410 = 10min48secs

Thank you everyone for the input so far, I am interested in what others might have to say.

A small side note - I'm not interested in which make of airplane is the best and I'm not asking you to tell me. Please stay on track with this thread; what is your preferred B777 aircraft? I don't care how good your back feels from flying Airbuses...

Thank you in advance,
