Preferred B777

Hello all,

Clearly there are a lot of B777 pilots in the Middle East, collectively flying all variants.

Following inconclusive searches of these forums, I'd like to know what the consensus is on the favourite variant to fly and for what reasons.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. :ok:

Thanks,
scanman24

For me 777-200LR or F.

Go like stink.

kneebrace 13th July 2012 05:55

An empty -200F is my fav. Short of a fighter, can't think of an aircraft that has that kind of performance.

halas 13th July 2012 06:49

The 200F. Good performer, .89, and no drama or issues on board.

the -200LR, never flown the -200F

falconeasydriver 13th July 2012 07:32

200F for flying, for all the reasons previously spoken about, landing the 300ER because its the easiest, the 200F is a handful when its light, don't mention the 300:mad: when it comes to landing.

jeff748 13th July 2012 08:30

The one that pays the bills.

I'm flying -300ER, -200LR and -200F. My personal favorite is a heavy -300ER.
The most stable, easy to handle and land aircraft I've ever flown.
Cheers!

If your in the mood for fun, flying an empty B77F is absolute magic. Landing a heavy 777-300ER is nice too. Overall no matter which variant, it is a great plane to fly, I just wish they could build a nice seat for it.

I am surprised this thread has lasted so far without turning into an Airbus v Boeing clownfest :D

Get over yourself! Who cares! Another A vs B thing.

scanman24 14th July 2012 09:39

Thank you everyone for the input so far, I am interested in what others might have to say.

A small side note - I'm not interested in which make of airplane is the best and I'm not asking you to tell me. Please stay on track with this thread; what is your preferred B777 aircraft? I don't care how good your back feels from flying Airbuses...

Thank you in advance,

Yep, and probably 45 secs to the first level bust,

1 min 12 secs to the first TCAS RA.

scandistralian 14th July 2012 15:34

Is that a video of what the Super Duper pilots do at the inflight Blue Oyster bar on the way to the "its too quiet and my rest keeps getting disturbed by Y class pax farting all the time bunks"

lucky they all have such strong wrists...
