Be careful when dealing with this company. We rented a flat from them in a "luxurious" area; problems started a week after moving in. The only thing that ALDAR do is collecting your cheques. The landlord wouldn't invest a Dirham in the place, to him it's obviously just an ATM where he pulls out "one cheque" of 185.000 per year. ALDAR is protecting him. They only tell you on the phone that they "will call you back".
We have been in there four months now, and were told to leave, after several futile requests of having some basic maintenance done - a water leakage that we finally had someone repair by our own means, or tiles falling off the bathroom wall. The building is less than a year old, by the way.
So I think that is exactly what we are going to do. Just sorry we still have to stay for the time being.
