UAE Agrees Open Skies With.......
Albania.
Airlines from both countries will now be able to operate unlimited air services between Albania and the UAE.
The UAE has listed Etihad Airways, Emirates, RAK Airways, Air Arabia and FlyDubai as designated national carriers while Albania has listed Albanian Airlines and Belleair.
The pact also includes full fifth freedom traffic rights between the UAE and Albania.
And for those who don't know the significance of that:
"Fifth Freedom of The Air - the right or privilege, in respect of scheduled international air services, granted by one State to another State to put down and to take on, in the territory of the first State, traffic coming from or destined to a third State"
