Etihad Pilots

I'm trying to answer a question for my boss.

What percentage of pilots on Etihad are from the West i.e. US/Europe/NZ/Aus etc?

Cheers,
JD

no worries... I think it depends on the fleet. on the 777 I think there might be more Asian guys, on 320: more guys from US/ south and central America/ Europe with also a few guys from NZ/AUS. I guess 330 and 340 fleets are more balanced though probably not too many Americans as most are on the 320 I believe.
If you are looking for exact numbers, maybe somebody more informed can chime in.

In the contemporary political and cultural context, the Western World generally refers to the nations of the Americas, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and South Africa.

wasnt aware of that. I guess when referring to western culture it makes sense.

We DO learn interesting things on Pprune once in a while.

By the way, Saviboy is not related to savvy. If i were savvy I wouldn't be working where I work now.

With all the crap happening right now at Etihad, I must say, I give them credit for diversifying the pilot group pretty well, especially in the training department. There are no "gangs" if you will. Fairly evenly split (at least on the bus). Maybe before on the B777 or the A330/340, but it seems like that's gone or going (for now anyway). We have people from all over the world. 320/330/340 is a bunch of everyone. 777 seems to be a bit more Asian.

Fishing alert

I think you should ask the HR dept.

Why would your "Boss" need this info?

People here have been pretty forthcoming in trying to answer your question JD. In return would you be so kind to tell us who your boss is, or at least why he needs this info, then at least you might get more of a response

I think the question you are asking is what is the breakdown of Caucasian pilots in EY.
