Does anyone know what the physics part of the exam will consist of? I havent done physics in a while and I'm a little bit worried. The math part is alright though. Any comments are appreciated.

Hi
I have an ATPL with 2500hours, of which 1000hours is F/O on a regional jet.
I would appreciate some constructive information on what my chances for an interview would look like?
Is recruitment at Qatar Airways ongoing?
Thank you

I got a No from them, F(ATPL) holder aith A320 TR and time on type. Not sure what they are looking for. I just filled out the Flight deck crew application form on the website and stated I was applying for Second officer. They got back to me quite quickly.

Half-pint... Does you regional jet you were flying have EFIS? If so, if you have more than 500 hours on the EFIS a/c, you should apply as a first officer, not s/o.
SW1, how much total time do you have? again, i think you should have applied as f/o as well.
Coz if you are more than 28 years old, and apply as s/o (irrespective of how many hours you have) they will say no coz thats the age limit for s/o. If you got 2000TT and you got 500 EFIS hours, you can apply as an f/o. If you don't meet any of the criteria above, then your application will go into the bin...
Hope this info helps..

Hi
Yes, it is an Embraer ERJ...
With regards to S/O-F/O, is it that crucial which I one I put on the application? I applied for S/O, figured that as many pilots with more experience than me get into large Airlines (SAA,CX etc) as Second Officers...
Age-wise, I am mid twenties...
Thanks for the comments, please, any more information is appreciated!

Hey Half-Pint,
If you are in your mid twenties, you should have no problem getting in as a S/O. What my advice would be is to e-mail HR or Flight Deck department and check with them. I do not want to give you "best guess" answers. But note that you will be bonded for 4 yrs coz you do not have an airbus type rating. PM me if you want any other info...
