The 777 LHR was an one-off. So was a MCH some time ago. They had a spare aircraft, so it flew to LHR and back. One svcheduled flight to LHR daily shows on the summer'10 timetable.
Cheers!

Those times are way off...
EK 261 leaves DXB at 1030am LT and arrives GRU at 1930LT same day and
EK 262 leaves GRU at 0140am LT and arrives DXB at 2200LT next day
How can QR times be that as quoted above...

Apologies for the type in the GRU post above.
Other corrections / updates:
BCN will operate on A319LR instead of A330.
All China routes will operate on 77W from summer season (expect HKG on A332).
All ZA routes (presently JNB and CPT) will ops on 77W from summer season.
LHR will no longer feature certain services on 77W as planned. Now revert to all Airbus.

Jaargh,
Qatar's A330's (-200 and -300's) can be found servicing EVERY route on the network either routinely as timetabled, or occassionally as back-up. It's probably easier for us to list the routes that definitely do NOT use the A330 and, for the moment, these are as follows:
TXL / JFK / IAH / MEL / IAD / NBO / MCT / SAH
Some of the routes on which the A320 series predominates, but which occassionally are served by the 330 (and even 777 and 346), are:
NBO / SEZ / COK / ATH / GOI / AMQ / SAH / DAR / IKA / MCT / AUH / most other India routes except BOM and DEL.

Hi all,
Iam due to join Qatar in the not to distant future and would be grateful if anyone could post a comprehensive list of routes operated by the A320 fleet.
I have had a look at all the previous threads and listed the destinations mentioned but not sure whether this is an exhaustive list or not!? Would just satisfy my cauriousity, thats all!....Thanks in advance,
Mitch.

Qatar Airways will shortly be upping its 4 weekly A319 services to CPH to a daily A330. The service started effective summer 2010 and QR is also evaluating to start services to Oslo, Norway.

Other updates on QR include
* Launch of flights to BGW, EBL, NJF this winter.
* MXP, MAD getting upgraded to a B77W in winter 2010.
* Launch of Sofia, Bulgaria.
(Many thanks indeed to Ojas for providing this data and use of the link. Many thanks indeed.)

There is no commercial justification what so ever for QR to increase capacity to MXP in particular from a 305 seater A 333 to a 335 seater B 77W when the operating costs of an A 333 on this medium haul sector is more economical against a B 77W.
The same I can say for MAD especially in the low season i.e. IATA W10.
