Qatar Airways Announces New Routes For 2010 | Qatar Airways Press Release

Additionally, on 27th December 2009, QR also confirmed to commence operations to Copenhagen (A319LR) and Barcelona (A332) during 2010.

Can't wait for BCN!

Fubaliera 20th Dec 2009 19:42

So the question is, will bangalore be a layover or turn around

A300Man 27th Dec 2009 17:13

Edit: CPH will be 4 x weekly on the A319. BCN will be daily on a mixture of A333 and A332.

Fubaliera 27th Dec 2009 19:02

How do you know bcn will be on the 330

QatarA340 27th Dec 2009 20:07

QR Re-hire?

Hi A300 man

Do you know if Qr will re-hire?

I worked for them back in 2002, I miss it...

Fubaliera 28th Dec 2009 20:44

Are you from Puerto Rico

Fubaliera 28th Dec 2009 22:39

Europe is Airbus but the 777 will take over kul, jnb and hk as per the reservation system.

jeturme 29th Dec 2009 04:05

de Espana senor

A300Man 29th Dec 2009 05:52

I guess A340's question was because there is a slight possibility (speculation) that the initial months of BCN will be via MAD or FCO as extension. However, I expect it to be direct.

QR does re-hire in certain cases, as long as you didn't leave under a cloud. LOL.

As for 777 operations to Europe - one of the daily LHR rotations will be on a 77W starting in January. (I believe it's the rotation that ultimately departs from LHR at 0755hrs daily, in a two class operation).

MAN330-300 29th Dec 2009 21:57

Yes the 777 is loaded in for some services from LHR. There is no F class however business class has a flat bed. Sydney should hopefully also join the network this year. I noticed that EK are starting a service to AMS.

Baron buzz 29th Dec 2009 21:58

Where does the 777 currently fly at the moment?

A300Man 30th Dec 2009 12:44

77W - MNL / BKK / SIN / DPS / IAD / IAH (stand-in) / DXB / AUH / KWI / CAI / JFK / BOM / BAH

77L - MNL* / BKK* / SIN*** / DPS*** / DXB / IAH / MEL / CAI / DEL / BAH / KWI / MLE** / MAN***

* commencing Jan 2010
** once only on a proving flight
*** stand-in aircraft recently

Cheers A300 Man,

What does a typical roster look like on the 777? What is the average length of each trip and how many days per month are yours in Doha?

I'm just after a rough idea really.

Thanks again,

BB
