Gyrocopter flying in the Middle East??

Last year I heard that there was someone flying an autogyro out in the Middle East somewhere. (Possibly an MT-3)
If anyone has any details then I would be grateful for some information.
Cheers

Hmmm. Check Jazeera Aviation. They have about everything from a powered paraglider to a hot air baloon. They are located between Al Hamra and RAK.
