Their website is still up.

If true, perhaps we can get pilocol to write a nice obituary and shed some tears?

Bexair

Bexair has an long time ME resident from Australia, who is getting rid of the dead beats, and trying to make the operation work. He is getting rid of the useless staff, sorting out the thieves as he said, and selling some aircraft ,trying to bring in others. So I do not think they are on their side, waiting to slip below the waves. I wish him luck.

Cheers

Bexair

Just finished a contract with Prestige Jet, and the co-captain I flew with was a long time Bexair employee, who actually regretted leaving them. He says they still have two 604's possibly one XLS and are supposedly looking for a Legacy. He resides in Bahrain so this is rather stable info. I will try to contact him and find out what he is doing and any Bexair info that he could possible pass on. The Australian who was riding herd over the operation was a Victim of the Local bureaucrats there and is no longer working for them

Bexair is a sh1thole of a company. They like to fire people behind their backs when they are home so that they have no way of getting what ever money is owed them. I just talked to one pilot who was fired while he was on vacation. He fooled them when he flew to Bahrain, showed up at their office, and went right to the CEO demanding his salary. He did receive his salary after 3 days. They had the balls to ask him to send in his passport to cancel his visa, but not the balls to fire him in person. This is not the first time they have done this, and they make up some lame excuse about why they had to fire you.. I am sure the same crap happened with the Aussie pilot who i did know.. He was a good guy working for a crap company..I also know that they have many lawsuits against them from former pilots going after their salaries..Hope they all win..

Will the last Bexair aircraft please

Turn off its landing lights.

I was told that they would lose the last aircraft last week, and keep the FBO.

Keeping the FBO is a ploy to the "owners".....

The AOC was cancelled!!! So, yes they still have a few days of it still being effective, then that is it....So yes pprune is a good place of information

I got confirmation from 2 recently released pilots who demanded their payments due, and received them after they would not leave the office without it. The compnay tried to scam them by firing them while they were on vacation, but both of these pilots showed up at the office and would not leave till they received what was owed. I was also told that they have many other pilots who have hired laywers to fight for their payments...Still, no matter how you look at it, Bexair is GONE, what a dump anyways....

Bexair

I hear they owe a huge amount of money all over the place and have not been paying their bills. It was just a matter of time. My source is the ex GM who still lives in Bahrain.

If somebody wants to buy the company and structure and staff it appropriately I'm quite sure there's a way to negotiate with CAA in order not to reapply for a full AOC issuance. Trade license is much more significant to prove the company is dead.

And no, PPRuNe is not a good place for information but only for few rumors and lots of BS.

Please let this dump of an operator die in shame...I was just let go by them, and yes they did try to scam me out of my pay, 2 months salary plus perdium, but they did not get away with it...I gave them years of good service for them to treat me and my fellow pilots this way... The company and the CEO can eat crap and die...Just a rotten way to treat your #1 assets...

They did get a cancel order for their AOC...And yes they owe so much money, I doubt that anyone would be interested in them at this point

the same old cr@p...

When will people learn that if you start off your operations with a whole heap of cash, a few good people and some good solid customers and it works... the last thing you do is fire the good ones, dilute the management with others who just happen to have no ability and the right surname/know the king/have extremely brown noses/you get the idea/ the whole thing WILL NOT WORK ! Sitting on your ar@@ all day playing windows games on your pc, cruising up and down whatever corniche you happen to live near in your expensive company lexus will not make money !

Most jobs need some sort of skill/experience/ability/training. Organisations need just that, organisation, and not the fickle interference of those that do not know their ar@@ from their elbow !

Is that little truth some sort of secret ? It seems to me that most of the executive operations in the middle east are run, or at least controlled by ineptitude and hot air. The able folks are working like slaves, and the front men continue to do theie best to screw it up. Bexair, Prestige, Gulf jet..... any other names to add to the list ?

It needs more than a big storefront and some brightlights to bring in and retain customers........

Laurence is 101% correct

But it will never change, all the companies are as good or as bad as each other. Untill such time as "locals" learn from he bottom up (no pun intended), respect staff with knowledge, and when they do arrive in their office, dont just lock the door, and wait till 4pm to go home, having arrived at 11am. Hands on management with knowledge will always win. Respect the workers who are working with you, and respect their knowledge, after all mostly they have been there and got the T shirt.

Is there just 1 thread on PP that actually glories any corporate operation.

I know PP is at its best slinging virtual mud, but please lets hear something good. That does not include "I actually got paid this month", type postings.
