777's are a back flip and the 330's are not GF's!!

Please address each of the points I raised. I write from a pax perspective, not tech crew. That's where your salary comes from and as such one that should perhaps take priority. I have no idea how I would feel as a Cpt with GF and welcome premium pax aboard a decrepit ac and service and offerings severely lacking. I hardly blame the Cabin crew or Tech crew. I'm paying for ease of check in, a nice lounge that's relaxing, orderly boarding recognising my loyalty and status, efficient crew, up to date AVOD, good menu, a seat that's clean, comfy and works, a friendly ear when things go wrong ,an ac that's advanced, a loyalty programme that isn't misleading or downright rude to loyal pax and most of all a safe journey. It is of no concern to the pax how much you are being payed or that your close to attaining a left seat on yr ac of choice. The only thing GF did consistently is transport me safely for which I'm truly grateful. The rest started off bad before Hogan,,,then gave some good hope with the changes, then got progressively worse after Hogan left. That's what pax sees and knows and pays for. So from pax viewpoint nothing has changed since he left.

"Wake up?"

Go Spend 10K on an F ticket with GF then spend the same amount with EY for same ticket, same route. Then come back and tell me a story.

The locals defend this airline for reasons beyond me, esp in its current sad
state

Hogan wasn't perfect(If there was a Bahrani who is/was better than Hogan or Naf then where the #$%^ is he/she??????!!!!!!!!

Things DID change when Hogan was there - that's FACT- you had skytrax awards under him...where r they now???? and he's been gone years now...what's changed???...oh that's right you locals now have Naf to blame. ..of course none of this is Bahrains fault

GF is in intensive care and on borderline of resuscitating or turning off the machine..how many more years do you keep an airline like this operating? Honestly is a real joke and beyond words.

EX loyal GF pax (EY all the way!)

I suppose I break the mold. I'm local and I certainly don't support Goof Air.

I stopped flying GF many years ago after I got fed up with them overbooking flights, and offering no tangible compensation when things went wrong.

One of the main problems in Gulf Air is that they have too many managers. Not only that. They have ppl in positions that have no experience nor idea of how things work. Thats extremely sad when you know that a lot of money is being wasted for nothing and nobody is even trying to do anything about it. Well i guess as long as they're getting paid, they shudnt care really. Be there till the well dries up and then look for another place to dwell.
A lot of new positions have been created lately. And with all due respect, the people holding those top positions are absolutely useless. Being a local or expat, they are not helping GF in anyway. My solution is to shrink the management team and try to spend their money improving their Jurassic fleet...
