A Warning to QATAR Management

Hello Qatar Management

You Have a very close friend of mine who is very sick and currently off your roster. You are being closely monitored by me and many other expats currently living in the middle east.

He has been loyal to you in every way and deserves the best support you can offer him and his family in this time of need.

I warned my friend away from you, however he liked what he saw and was happy to serve you well.

Dont mess this up. I will take it very personally.

YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGIVEN

They won't be reading PPRUNE my friend as they are far too busy doing their A330 CCQ courses. If not busy with that then they are occupied tryin to forcing A330 trainers to the A320!

The new British flight ops management (both former experienced 320 drivers) would have been more useful getting A320 training endorsements on their licences and helping out in the training department rather than doing A330 CCQ.

Guess everyone needs to leave this place with something to show for their time here.

Whats next? Direct entry trainers from the UK to Qatar?

That's so cool!!! What is your cunning plan Tail Rota? Hijacking? Suicide bombing of the 9th floor? You're gonna let down all Goat Airways tires one night? We already have one psychopathic ex-employee who is trying to solicit an accident through information spin Now we have a nutty local terrorist making threats? What a lovely place to work and live, Allahu Akbar!!!

Tail Rota,

I do understand your anger and emotion regarding the colleague who is currently in the hospital, in a very bad shape!

All of us who know him hope that miracles DO happen and that the experimental treatment will help!

He is well liked by everybody, and this includes our management. As far as I know the company is trying to help wherever they can ( support to the wife and kids, arranging transportation back home for the kids etc (thanks to the A330 fleet secretary why by the way is really hartstruck by this whole story))

A campaign is being set up, just like they did last year when we so unfortunately lost another colleague in a similar way) etc...

So give them a brake mate!

Making threats like this on a public forum will not solve the problem! On the contrary. And the only people who will SUFFER from posts like yours are the pilot in question and his family!

And if worst comes to worse, we will set up a campain ourselves now, wont we?

Hang in there, control your emotions and use your energy to support him and his relatves!

Tail Rota - Something tells me you are not very well versed in the ways of the Middle East. Start issuing threats and you have lost, big time, LOST. Your employers will not respond to any kind of threat, even if you have a cast iron case but they will respond to a well mannered and reasoned approach. Stay right away from the adversarial stuff, it will get you no where.

Here's how Qatari's helping, after haggling with the wife about sending the kids back home, they finally gave in and gave them tickets, little did they realize these were ID travel tickets, so they couldn't get home on the date they wanted. Good one Qatari

If you are standing by what you are saying, you are either an important local royal, or close to one, or you are in for some "treatment" when you decide "to strike". I think you got enough advice from this Forum.
More importantly, I hope "that close friend of yours" is doing better, and so avoiding you to do something counter-productive.
