Etihad follows major carriers best practice again
Hot off the press :
Now as a pilot of theeee national airline of the UAE you are allowed to request 1 day OFF, up to 3 in a row per month (all requests deemed as requests and not guaranteed).
Etihad again follows general best practice of the major carriers of the world !?!?
Sorry CX, SQ, BA etc. - can`t beat that.
Good old 4 in a row R.I.P.

As a major (And National) airline, Ey cares about its crew and you are now able to bid for (hold your breath!!) only 3 days off AND/OR 3 days leave OR 1 requested flight; Dont forget to say thanks at the pumpet road show!!
Like every month you will get a fair roster sending people to europe when they want to go to Africa or you will get 3 FRA, or CDG, MAN, MUC in a row when some guys are asking for only one of them and never get it!! Also make sense to fly back to back to the same destination with minimum rest at base...
Many airlines are using AIMS and pilots are able to built 95% of their roster per month without crying to get one flight

IF you don t know are to run a national airline at least you can try to copy other airlines (have a look few miles away, it s a good start

Rumor has it, they have to find a way to get rid of all the accumulated leave. Genius AH with the help of Flt Ops said to themselves, if the is want to have more than 3 days OFF in a row, let them use up their leave!!!

3 days off maximum request a month, so those will always be between 2 ULRS. Thats why they changed it from 4 to 3.
Where is the swapping system that was promised for May 1st?
Kinda makes you miss old NB.
Mmm....Seniority doesn't mean anything, the pay is crap, I get to look forward to Minsk, a whole 1 week bonus, Hi ho, hi ho its off to Emirates I go.......

Another change.
The latest revision number 40 000, allows 4 days off as a single request. It seems like the flap1 at 20, and gear down at 18 helped somehwhat!
Just think what we could get if we flew 6620 nm to Syd with the gear down!

Don't celebrate, it's only for 1 year then you have to pay for it
So convenient to say it after all moved in

I just heard this about Al Raha Gardens's Villa, lease valid for only one year and then they, the pilots, must pay the difference! 250000-160000 (f/o/case)= 90000 to be decducted from second years salary
