EK Profit Share....
Historicaly any increase in the education allowance has coincided with an increase in school fees that isn't always aligned with the financial year, ie it's governed (literally) by the likes of GEMS et al.

Is it true that 2 days worth of pay are removed from every week, when calculating the amount of money to be given for the 14 weeks? (So effectively, instead of being 98 days worth of $$$, its 70 days?) Thats what ive heard from a few senior captains in the airline recently.
That would effectively reduce the profit share by almost 30%

Hopefully, about two weeks from now at the most when it's (at last) announced.
And may the answer be worth the wait - and substantially more than the poor bloody flight attendants got - 'poor', (or at least 'poorer than last year') now being the operative word/phrase.

8 weeks, 5% + increment. No increase on flight pay. Utilities maybe 7%
see if I'm wrong!

6 weeks and no payrise , maybe a reduction in flight pay. The aviation boom cycle is always very short.
You guys are in for a very rude shock if you think there will be any payrise.
