Dear Colleague,
I am very pleased to announce that the Emirates Group has achieved record profits for the past financial year, 2007-08.
The group profit share target was set at Dhs3.75 billion, which we have surpassed.
You are, therefore, entitled to a bonus, equivalent to 14 weeks' pay, in your May salary.

Just need a decent payrise Habibs, to keep us fed and watered the rest of the year. I hope the Sheikh will grant us a decnt one, inshallah!

The pay review is usually announced in the first week of May. There was one year though, that it was not until the 16th or so. That was too late for the May paycheck, so it was on the June paycheck, retroactive for May.

It's great, hope the pay review will be in the same direction.
It however doesn't make the other irritants (rosters, vacations, inflation, traffic,etc.) disappear...
I will enjoy today, and wake up to reality again tomorrow...

I think Rambo is right you will pay by losing 14 weeks of your longivity for the appaling working conditions you guys have .
You never get anything for nothing especially in the ME.
