IT IS ALL TRUE!!!!! don't be so shocked
, this happens a lot in the region.
i do agree that we shouldn't air our dirty laundry. but what if you were on the recieveing end of mal-treatment? what if you were unable to defend yourself? what if there's gross abuse of power by management? what if management who head accountability systems are as corrupt?
these types hate mediums like pprune.

Conundrums happen in the aviation "region" industry...it's not limited to the middle east..anytime someone has a problem maintaining/obtaining proficiency, accusations fly, and the training dept. inevitably gets the blame from the trainee/customer involved..eg:..one of our recently departed colleagues on whom many hours of exhaustive training was spent...on the TWO type ratings he eventually recieved from the airline, has done nothing but blame our dept. for his woes..good luck to him and his new employer just a few clicks east of here..what makes it worse, are the racist tones raised here by brassy...who seems to have some chip on his shoulder...

IB. absolutely no racism, no shoulder chips, just facts. i was adding to FCOM 5's elaborations in post #18. i am not in anyway defending the dual-rated bond jumping rat you mentioned.
i like your choice of words IB. conundrums? at least you agree. but by diluting the issues by calling them that sounds defensive. at least i say what i mean and mean what i say. visit HR and you will see one of many reasons i've become who i am.

As some of you may know I am leaving but to be honest. The training department is one of the few shinning lights in GF. They have lots of other problems (the airline) but bias against Ex-pats is not one of them. I have to agree with Sal-E the locals have been nothing but welcoming to us Ex-pats and I am really sad to say good bye well atleast to the flying frat!

And once again, if you go here, last post, you have your answer:
http://www.pprune.org/forums/middle-...-fo-fired.html
You can reasonably assume that the required hard evidence did not come in so, to avoid a possible libel suit, Admin withdrew the thread. There now, that wasn't hard, was it?
