Qatar's First Boeing 777-300ER

Interior interactive presentation now appears on QR's new website. I have to say, I am pleased J class is only 6-abreast and Y class is 9-abreast.

Looks good. Link:

No. Initially, DXB services, followed by deployment onto IAD, and possibly LGW after a while. BKK was rumoured too.

Why, are you thinking of coming back?????? LOL.

Does anyone know the basic conditions on B777 being offered by Qatar?
Such as On/Off Leave etc?

I did hear a rumour a while ago that this aircraft may operate to LHR on the QR 1/2 service. The seating looks alot better than the competition.

Hi MAN333,
QR001 and 002 are the 'flagship" services of the carrier and will always remain as three class operations due to demand.
The only occasions when a two class operation has occurred is when an aircraft has had operational or technical difficulties. I don't foresee 001/002 ever being two class timetabled.
On the other hand, the third daily service (which has a floating schedule and no fixed departure time each day - QR 005, 006, 007, 008) could be be two class.
QR011/012 are codeshares with bmi and DO have fixed daily times.
Cheers,
A300

Amongst other routes, the B773ER will be used by QR to start direct services from Doha to IAH next year.

Good news.

Let's also hope they will find enough people and make them stay to crew these aircraft!
