Thumbs up Qatar simulator check ?

Hi all,

I was wondering if somebody have got some sort of an idea about what kind of simulator check a candidate would expect to have during his recruitment process ?

P.s did try to search pprune but all I found is some 2 yr old info, which I think it might be useless by this time.

My best regards,
Cool_pilot.

A330 or A320, depending on availability.

You will receive a basic briefing on how to fly this airplane upor arrival.

Standard sim assesment program.

Take off, airwork, return, ILS, eng fail, single engine approach, landing.

They will fail all automatisation on you.

Not looking for SOPS, looking for CRM and how you will adapt yourself to the pilot next to you.

They will try to mix two pilots together, with a background as far away from each other as possible.

Good luck

Type rated or non ?

Hello Qatari515,

I would like to thank you very much indeed for your help , very informative from you and kept it short and sweet : )

I was wondering if that particular sim check would be for all candidates or just for the one with the apropriate rating/experience ?

I am banking on the fact that I might get an interview with QATAR as a cadet if my connections would serve me well , but oh well I will hold there at the moment and I will see how things would go.

Indeed, looking forward to fly with you one day on one of Qatar`s flights, as you are one of the most active member`s that keeps on replying to posts relating to your company.Keep up the good work !!

Rgds.
