I have no idea why you act the way you do PITTA CEO, but it surely does not reflect any attitude I would expect from a soon to be Captain!

You must be either a hoax, a wannabee or a local guy fresh from the college!

You have absolutely no idea whatsoever...

Qatari515 and others, why do you even bother with this guy. I wont after this post, thats for sure!

Pretty much all what has been said here by serious people is corect. The situation is very worrying indeed...

Lets hope the new management will be able to recover from this steep dive before its too late!

Godspeed!

naive

What new management ??
If you are in QR for some time you should know that there is no new or old management there is only one management and its a CEO . He will take new guys and give some freedom for 30 days and after same old story .
MANAGEMANT TERMINATION like it was case tru all this years ! lol lol new management
He will call new GMFO at any time of day or night and aske him why Capt on 001 asked crew to bring FC meal when he should know that only BC meal can be served and so on and you will see GMFO who was full of promise and entusiasm first 30 days resigening frustrated after some time.

Acording to the actual policy , you will join the line behind all the guys for the 320 fleet so look at least 5 to 6 years for a left seat (on a 320), your location is KL right? go to Airasia already 18 f/os on QR took that option

will not upgrades increase or have to increase in the future with all these A350s 777s and 787s orders while still (or maybe trying to) attract DEC's at the same time ?
think about it once again, would you?
Has anything changed compared to what it used to be? NO. Same expansion same growing crazy policy etc..What makes you think there will be any change, my friend? You see it's wish thinking these people are betting on and they are quite often successful with the bets. They don't lie if asked but neither do they tell you the truth cause it's their job to get you here. Let me tell you one thing coming over is easier than to leave. Take it as granted.

well Snam, aren't u a smart one? You think your calculations are unbeatable.
You think, the market will complete the final stroke and if you stick it out you will outsmart all the dummies who haven't seen it else where, don't you?
Best of luck man, all i can say to you.

dear azlee 19,

Yes,Air Asia accepts FOs with WB experience for A320 command ,with or without A320 rating.

Judging from your flying hours,I can imagine where you are along the MAS seniority line, boy, you will rot for command if you were to stay in MAS!

capt

I was told 2 days a go that A320 can do 2 upgrade in 30 days and A330 can do 2 also . No upgrade on A300 and 777 means 4 total in 30 days . Its easy to calculate if you jojn naw as F/O you are 428th F/O so 428 guyz must get a left seat before you so figure it out ?

Whoooow...8.9 years for an upgrade.Not a wise decision to move to Qatar at the moment but still,for junior FOs in MAS is worth considering,reasonbeing;

1)Rumeneration package.
2)A very exhaustive long queue for command down here + command classes are frozen at present.
3)MAS's FOs have to go through NB aircrafts for their first command.

What's the upgrading path for a Qatar Airways WB FO?Do they have to go on A320(NB) first for command,or do they do Right to Left transition?
