Thank you for applying for the position of QR7700-Type Rated First Officer Boeing | Qatar Airways | Doha.

However, we regret to inform you that you have not satisfied our pre-selection screening criteria and as such, your application cannot be taken any further.

Should you wish to apply for a different vacancy, please login as an Existing User.

I have no clue what I‘ve done wrong but is there anybody who has received the same email after application?

Cheers

Qatar Airways does not operate 737 type aircraft.
Are you type rated in either 787 or 777 aircraft?
If not, then this job opening does not apply to you, hence the reply you received,

Dom

All of these hours on the NG?
They give absolutely no credit for the Classic 737.

I have never flown the 737 Classic. All hours are logged on 737NG.

Non pilot here - can anyone advise a forum (here or elsewhere) where I might get advice on Qatar employment conditions for exec roles at Doha?

I’m applying online for a manager role and they are asking for salary expectations (monthly in QAR). I really don’t know what is reasonable, and have no contacts to ask. Google not being much help

Thanks in advance

A salary number can be hugely subjective. It's what else you get that counts.
Housing.
Utilities
Transport
Return flights to you point of recruitment- hopefully more than once a year!
These can make a moderate salary quite good.

As far as I know, SFI is same as DEC....pretty good deal as usually they get more flight or sim pay so sometimes make more.

Do experienced DEC 77 leap ahead in the pool or do they wait in turn behind other 737 upgrading to 777 candidates.

What does a LPC mean? Is it the last route check on the aircraft and does it have to be valid for the assessment or at the time of joining?

Muscat assessment

Hello,

Only 3 out of 25 candidates selected for simulator in Doha, out of which 2 were already 777 rated. Is this a joke or something? Real waste of time and money. Recommend everyone to stay away from QR.
