Yes wives are effectively "sponsored" by the husband visa and they register to work. Need work permit after background checks, but certain jobs are reserved for nationals.

hello there....Just a quick question, my application status is showing
"Interview Schedule Pending" also after the online test my application is moved onto a separate link ACZ(Advanced Candidate Zone)....notes/explanation on previous pages suggest it could be for a different role?
I am current on B777s with over 1000:00 on type

Relax everyone. Things take time here. Lots of training of new trainers going on at the moment. Possibly a slight back log. If you've been successful, your time will come. Things are moving along.
Z2190, you could assigned any fleet at any time even after joining. It will state your fleet allocation on the contract when offered and the fact it could possibly change at any time due to demand on other fleets. With your hours on the 777, I would guess you will go 777, but don't discount any other fleet i.e. 787. They like to try and keep Boeing to Boeing and Airbus to Airbus if possible. Sometimes 320 guys do come and go 330 and on very very rare occasions 330 guys arrive and go to 320. ACZ means ACZ, nothing more, nothing less. Relax.

I recently attended an interview in Doha for DEC Boeing. The latestpilotjob website is more than enough to pass this interview. My advice is not to waste money on EASA question banks as the number of questions available would take many months to review, let alone remember. The Qatar question bank is also sufficient. However, not all questions in the exam were from the Qatar question bank, but were of a similar level of complexity..... which is quite basic.
The interview is quite involved, but again, the LPJ website cover all the question likely to be asked. Pass the ATPL exam and the interview, and you will be asked to return the following day for the sim. Again this is quite basic, involving simultaneous climb, turn & accelerate followed by descend, turn whilst reducing speed. You may also be asked to maintain a rate of descent too. Once this has been done, take off followed by an emergency..... return to Doha type scenario, NITs brief, call the company, performance etc, and land.
That's it. Got the nod a few days later and swimming in the pool waiting for course date.

The whole interview package is outlined in latestpilotjobs interview prep. In my honest opinion, it's all you really need. Yes, there are questions asked which may not be in the Qatar question bank, but they are very basic.

I think we can all agree that as pilots we all have a basic level of understanding. My post is simply giving people the heads up as to the level of detail needed to pass the exam. It has nothing to do with my personal level of knowledge.
If you wish to study the entire EASA question bank, you will simply waste valuable time and effort. If, however, you study the Qatar question bank, many of these questions appear in your exam (depending on which exam you are given).
Any questions that appear that were not in the Qatar question bank, were of a similar nature and level of complexity. I personally had 50% from the question bank, the rest I had never seen before. However, they were of a basic nature.
Take it how you will. Just sharing my experience and good luck.

Don't worry Silver, I understood what you were trying to say and I agree with you. After all, isn't the ATPL test exactly meant for this purpose? No basics is no job. If one's basics is greater dan some other's basics, well, then he or she has more chance for the job then the other has. Thus, selection may be accomplished.
