Oman looks at new growth
From this week's Flight International?
http://www.flightglobal.com/articles...eet-plans.html
Currently looking for acft to lease, to start LHR/BKK later this year. (Actually the article says "London" - rather than LHR, but I'm assuming it will be LHR they want). One question on this: presumably there's a bilateral between the UK and Oman, in which case the route authority is the Oman govt's to grant; can it strip GF of the authority to operate these routes and give the route to WY, and/or would WY have to acquire its own slots?

I'm think, once Oman is out of GF, GF will only have authority to fly to BAH from there. However, the LHR slots are GF's.
That may be the reason they sold one of their daily flight slots. I would imagine that the other one may be used as part of the divestiture.
