Saudia's new DG was on Arabic TV last night, he apparently confirmed that they are looking at an order for 110 airplanes.

They've been talking for so long about an order, so far it's been all talk and no action.

You are both correct; however, until 2 days ago they were publically denying that they were looking at an order at all.

I remember back in the beginning of this year, Aviation Weekly ran a story about 110 airplanes for them. The Saudi’s vehemently denied it at that time.

I haven't seen a report of any RFP let alone an order.

According to the Arab News of 10th July the order would be for 60 aircraft.
