Saudia, 110 A/C order coming.

Saudia's new DG was on Arabic TV last night, he apparently confirmed that they are looking at an order for 110 airplanes.

You are both correct; however, until 2 days ago they were publically denying that they were looking at an order at all.

I remember back in the beginning of this year, Aviation Weekly ran a story about 110 airplanes for them. The Saudi’s vehemently denied it at that time.

Obviously you're more privy to what's going on, but publically at least, there hasn't been any movement.

I haven't seen a report of any RFP let alone an order.

According to the Arab News of 10th July the order would be for 60 aircraft.
