Early 30's....likely would have been one in late 20's several years ago, and my bet would be one of the boys from Zim or SA.....most are late 30's to early-mid 40's.

"You know you're getting old when the policemen start looking young."
In EK, you could probably substitute "captains" for "policemen".

It stems from a decision made by a now departed recruiting boss some years ago who came up with the brillant plan of employing 25 year olds because he figured every one of them would stay with EK for 35 years.

For some reason no one in management has been able to fathom, quite a substantial number of these people, finding themselves with a couple of thousand hours command time on widebodies whilst still in their early thirties, have done the unexplainable and have taken themselves elsewhere. (Now who could have predicted that?)

No big deal

A 25 year can be "programmed" just as easily as a 45 year old.
