Another EK Moment

Just to let ya'll get a feeling of Emirates life without having to actually be here:

There was a recent attempted break in at one of the Silicon Oasis Villa's. The new ones. These are EK owned, EK maintained, EK security etc..

This is how the accomodations department is handling the damages to the Villa that was broken into.

The name at the bottom is the Accomodations boss, Hussain. The name of the individual who was broken into is removed from this post for obvious reasons.

Based on the finding of the investigation, there will be charges applicable against the damage in your residence where the cost will be deducted from your salary account. Cost to be advice as soon as we received quotation from the Landlords Office.

If its Villa 560 you are referring to then thats just the total number of villas in the complex.
As regards the lady in question that replied on behalf of EK, yep she's a real charmer

So, this would mean.... that if the poor driver at the end of his 12 hour shift, falls asleep, rams the Audi through the lounge window, crushes your SecurID fob, smashes the standard issue EK dining table, sprays burning fuel over your uniform hat hanging by the front door, consequently melting the adjacent gray Samsonite with the subsequent explosion destroying the surrounding 5 villas..you're up for about a 5 million AED deduction from your next salary?

As for the lady in question, M.J.A, about as much us as a "chocolate fire gaurd."
