A Rifle Shooting Club Contact in Doha

Though completely away from aviation I feel it’s worth a mention on this thread. If any one knows a contact in Doha re-above I would be most grateful if they could contact me.

Yep thay have it

A while back on a night stop went with a friend to the ranges was near a Canadian North Atlantic Uni, Clays Pistol and small bore rifle friendly people, don't know the town well so can't help more than that. Did not see full bore rifle there. But that may have changed as a new range was going to be built for the Asian games which I think are soon?

been to a shooting range a few years back up in the north of the country.. about 1+30 out of Doha. not sure if it's still there these days,, but also they have built a new shooting range just off of the road going to Al Kor, and just before the Lausail race track.. very nice complex as it seems to have been build just for the asian games but i'm sure you'll find someone there that could help you a bit further in your quest to improve your aim from the roof tops

Thanks for the information

Very many thanks for the contact information much appreciated. Maybe some like minds could get together and enjoy some sport, and possibly work off some frustration! And enjoy a few beers.
After the games would be better and as indicated the facilities should be some of the best. I will be following it up and if any one is interested just drop me a PM. Thanks again.
