Heard it will be non-alcoholic beer, and the f/os who go will get a ticket for 1 free transition upgrade ie no 6 months.
Credit sytem will come back but you will not get overtime unless you exceed 100 hours credit in 28 days.
What the hell is happening to the US dollar i gotta get some euros, dirhams are dead.

Just noted that it is not 'free' beer but cost neutral beer as the two drinks on offer are actually being supplied by MMI not EK.

International buffet (crisps and nuts) and Indian buffet are supplied but perhaps not from our own catering dept as there recent massive payrise may invite some more inventive ingredients to the massala sauce.

Devil Colllect ur prize

I guess the company email could be a guideline.....

Email asking those who won prizes at the Engineering Party to come and collect them...

Spread sheet attachment says over 300 prizes handed out and only 4 collected...

So does that mean only 4 went....or did it have something to do with the freebies

First prize was a used mini-bus , its 100 per-cent yours as long as you transport the MMI workers to and from work 6 times a week.
2nd prize was a get outta jail free from the sack 1 time only if you steal a bottle of water to drink on your Dakka overnight. that will make for some good room parties.
3rd prize was an offer to start a pilots union, this amazing offer also came with the first basing , its at the north pole. I believe also the lucky candidate is required to count the number of aircraft flying over the pole itself using heat sensing cameras.
The rest of the prizes were pens and junk of the flights things you are not allowed to steal. Seems if everybody has something like this at home it will be easier to get rid of them , try explaining you won it , you must have pinched it. Your sacked and you loose your provident fund , now thats real cost cutting.
By paying the waiters at the party it was possibble to squeeze some extra drinks.

Sycophant's Ball: Pilot Attendance

Actually I believe that the 60-70 pilots in attendance were there to present their resignations. It is very difficult to actually corner any Flight Ops. Management these days as the managers are either:

1. Refusing to talk to pilots (TCAS), or,
2. Forever "in a meeting" (every other manager in flight ops).

Anyway I'm sure that Mister Ed will present the statistically adjusted figures that will conclusively prove that over 70% of offduty pilots were in attendance.

Oh, by the way Mister Ed., what is this about a Flight Ops meeting where you were seeking ideas as to how to force Captain's to utilise duty time discretion?

"discretion: • noun 1 the quality of being discreet. 2 the freedom to decide what should be done in a particular situation."

The Oxford English Dictionary

I am sure everything will be fine once Long Range Ed and TCAS undergo this leadership training they are talking of. One would have hoped they would have completed this before taking their present jobs, but better late than never right?
Also interesting that besides having QAR, ASR, CSRs, KGB, GRU, CID, interpol, six monthly PPCs, medicals etc, they still think there is a chance someone might be getting away with something that should be punished with at least a formal warning and a few years loss of profit share. So they now are encouraging people to rat on their mates with more reports. Doesnt seem that long ago that report writing was frowned upon. So hard to keep up really.
I guess all extra fuel can be listed as LREDF (Long Range Ed diversion Fuel), might cut into the payload if we have to keep using NBO all the time though, and will make a long day when doing a SYD etc.

Always Discovering,

Don
