Smile Saudi Airports Available for GA?

Hi, is there anyone out there who can recommend any of the supposed "opened" Airports, in Saudi that would be suitable for a tech stop for a planned trip between Damascus to Bahrain, for a light GA aircraft, need stops every 650nm and wondered if anyone has used this route for delivery flights, as am attempting to avoid Egypt for the fact that you get ripped off, and avoid Lebanon for the current obvious reasons......any heads up would be useful.....international arrival status and Jet A1 required.....look forward to any info you can give.

I can't help with specifics, but I believe Saudi is "opening up" for GA, and a (private) flight school starting at RUH - so there might be an opportunity

YOU HAVE MANY AIRPORTS WITHIN KSA, YOU CAN START WITH TURAIF THE VOR IS TRF, ALJOUF VOR AJF, HAIL VOR HIL, GASSIM VOR GAS,
DAMMAM VOR KFA THEN BAH.

I THINK YOU NEED TO TALK TO JEDDAH CONTROL ON THE FLIGHT PLAN.
YOU CAN FIND THIER CONTACT ON THE AIP.

HOPE THE ABOVE HELPS!

The easy part is finding the airports, the hard part is getting the appropriate approvals to enter the airspace or use those airports.

Suggest you contact JetAviation or Arabasco in Jeddah, or the Saudi Aviation Club in Riyadh for advice.

Finally, are you sure that your GA aircraft can fly in the present summer conditions?? ISA+20 up to FL350 is quite common at the moment.
