Just saw your wonderful reply so I figured I will answer you just the way
you like it ! I dealt with Rs technics when you were in pampers or
huggies in your case!
I told you many times not to mention anything about my part time gig on
a public forum! Running coconut business did require technical
assistance from SR Tech. when you were working for me, they had
to come in and train you how you can climb up the tree & get more
coconuts to imporve the bizzz.
"Good faking anyway mate". IT DID ITS PURPOSE IT WORKS VERY WELL MATE
By the way I will be on EK418 in couple of days & I like to have
my breakfast ready early morning arrival.....SYD booy/Good faking anyway
mate .....Once again you seem to be lost in the Troposphere!

Bahrain experience

ozy, I consider Bahrain to be a very safe place to live and the local and expat communities are very friendly and easy going.
On a downside, the island does become a little small after a couple of years, especially when your trying to avoid the week-end saudi influx. As for Muscat, I've never been there, however I've very much enjoyed working with Omanis elsewhere in the gulf and I'm told it is a very bueatiful place. It also has another bonus in that you can then drive for more than 15km without running out of road
I also hear that Gulf Air has improved it's package for maintenance staff considerably over the last 3-4 years. Taking a guess, as it depends on ratings and experience, I would be expecting about 2000 Bahrain Dinahs a month, however while this doesn't convert to much in aussie dollars, please remember that it's tax free, + villa accommodation, + medical, + schooling for your 2 children.
Hope everything works out for you, as time in the Middle East is a highly rewarding experience.

hey ozy boy

i didnt really live in bahrain. i have been there on visits. been living in md east for all my life.currently residing in sydney.

bahrain is a lovely place to stay compared to aus. the buisness models for retail chains are so different that sometimes you may think why australia is so slow in picking up on such modern marketing trends. shopping experience in bahrain is wonderfull. nothing beats those big open chillers (horizontal and vertical). big shopping malls and also the people those who have enough sense to dress completely.

i wasnt really attacking you. but in your post, the implemented tone suggested you are building upon the popular opinion of westeners who take arabs as no good loafers who are sleeping on oil money (example prince hubba bubba in movie "click"). i am not against this idea. i believe in it to a greater extent. but ridiculing them in such fashion..... so cant take it bro.....no cant take it..

thanx

Hi guys,

Thanks for the info on Bahrain/Muscat, still awaiting any further news from GF, obviously coming from Oz there are many issues to consider and those that live there would no best.

Xyned, there was no 'tone' attached to my post maybe you jumped on the defensive a little early as I have absolutely no idea what the work ethic of the locals is like (hadn't even thought about it) - was more concerned with the lifestyle/security of the place which I think is a valid question if i move the family over.

And, I say security in a 'will my family be safe' kind of way as there is oviously a few things going on over that way at present and rather than be caught up in media hype i put the question out there.

You seem to have a big attitude about how backwards is - so whats keeping you here?

Lose the chip on your shoulder champ!!

hey jethrotul

i dont know what you are getting at. what do you mean by "hunch as though he is ject come come back from a rave"

to my best knowledge

hunch is synonymous to "feeling/preconception"
and did you mean 'rave' as in a night party or something to do with hangover. nah

well anyway. where on earth did you see me.

hi seb

whatever you have got against that no good mustapha rex , i am with you.

the thing is...in most large organisations in gulf. american express middle east for instance. the staffs are treated like ****.its not their way of treatment or something. but the disappointing salary packages etc.

the comapany has many employee recognition programmes like the blue box values and others. these programmes feel like fairy tales to me. having worked with it for 7 yrs. dumped it atlast.

well mustapha is no better it seems. he is sorta day dreaming of an a380 to LHR. ha ha ha...... he's a laugh riot. when i dont get anything better than a320 and at the best an a340 to sydney. i dont see why gf should get an a380 to such low priority destinations.

anyway sebastien. i apologize for my rubbish comments to your previous posts.
