Gulfair takes non rated pilots only at the moment (i.e. in the last few years).
Other A320 operators:
Saudi Arabia: NAS and it's LCC Al-Khayala, NetJets for NAS
Kuwait: Kuwait Air
Other operators:
UAE: Etihad accepts your application with A320 hours
Contractors:
The usual contractors are looking for A320 pilots for Qatar, NAS and others.

Dani, I'm tempted to say that your information regarding Gulf Air is inaccurate. Unless that is the MOST RECENT requirement for them to take non rated pilots only. I attended an assessment center in September 05 and there were a few 320 RATED guys who ended up getting the job. I also know that the selection held in November 05 had a few rated guys too. So, unless that is the requirement from December 05, I would have to say, go check your facts.
I believe a career in the ME with any of the disputed airlines is a whole deal better than most airlines out there in the world. My 2 cents.

Thanks for all your answers.
I have already tried Onur (they want timeon type), Atlas(they want to sell hours), Jazeera(no answer) and Gulf Air(They say that they also want time on Type).
So I will try now Air Arabia, do they invite people without time on Type??
Greetings

--- Ezeiza, Jazeera did not reply to your application?
Probably, because you told them that you are - not - willing to share your flat with another colleague , right?
My friend , meanwhile out of them, told me, the - PILOTS - if expat, have to share accommodation . And as a -plus-, they screw up people in their simulator-check.
If you didn't tell them not to share your very private area , you must probably be in, because, as far as I know, they don't have anybody and meanwhile taking old pilots from Kuwait Airways, not willing to work within low-cost-rostering.
(old not meaning bad - but unflexible)
Try it ... and best wishes

If you just have TR then it's difficult everywhere. I would hope on QR, but officially they also want 500 hrs. TR without hours is always a bit difficult. But you will find a job somewhere. Have you tried Asia, I mean, the far part?

Dont you think you should have looked into this before you went out and spent gob loads of money on a type rating. Welcome to the real world!
What you need is experience and any amount of money will not buy that. Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news - but get in the que!

I mean the Far East. Have you tried China, Hong Kong, Macao, Bangkok, Air Asia, Tiger, Silk? Have you thought about India? Most of the A320 ordered recently go to the Far East, not the Middle East.
Merry Xmas,
Dani
