Just noticed in vacancies section of Flight International advert for VP Fleet ( Flight Ops)!!!

Any ideas of what's occuring, who's moving, who's applying!!!!!!!!

TCAS' new side-kick is ex BA thug axed by Willy a week ago.

This newby is here to turn the negativety around with FORCE, by firing a few useless/ lazy/ replacable pilots to set the tone........

If anyone wants to fire EK pilots with a negative attitude he'll be very busy. 9 guys out of 10 that I fly with, Captains and Effos, are seriously negative about the company and at least half of them are looking for jobs elsewhere.
BTW, check the interview with Sir Flanagan on the Flight Int website. He says he wants to lower the unit cost even further. Good luck. Training new pilots to replace the ones that have resigned is not that cheap is it??? Regardless of subsidies...

So we are getting another "has been" in Flt Ops are we?
