SV aircraft emergency landing at CAI

A Saudi Arabian Airline MD-90 has just landed in Cairo Airport after declaring a full emergency. Early reports suggest the pilot contacted CAI's ATC and declared an emergency when the port-side engine caught fire in-flight.

The airport fire services were able to control the fire and all 125 passengers plus crew escaped safely but it seems the aircraft may be a right-off

The flight was SV316 flying Madinah-Cairo with 125 passengers. The flight arrived almost 2 and a half hours late.
