Strange question! Can anyone translate?
Hi Chaps,
Funny question maybe. This looks like arabic to me. Can anyone translate the text below or if not, point me in the direction of someone who can. Your help would be appreciated.
Yes, it could be upside down for all I know. (I think my Dad spent about 5 years writing 'shukaram' the wrong way up on restaurant bills).
And before you ask, no, I didn't wake up with this tatooed to my face after a night on the pop in Bahrain.
Cheers, Stout.

digna,
Thank you very much indeed for your assistance. I could not think of a likelier source than PPRUNE Middle East to deliver an answer. The text was inscribed on the blade of a dagger given to me by an Iraqi civilian. Thank you for explaining the message within this gift.
Best Wishes
Stout
