Wow that's very low pay, i think is about $1800 to 1900 U.S. do they give anything else like housing. is that a fix pay or does it increase with years in service.

Hello flynhigh,
I think you mean ground instructors or in Emirates terminology FCTIs. You will only do fixed base sim, and not the actual sim instruction. You would also conduct the ground school part of the reccurent training, and any other such ground school classes. The salary for these instructors is very close to an FO salary and yes they do provide for housing, schooling, medical etc. I do not know the figures exactly but it is around 17000 AED per month plus benefits.
Check six replied the increment line captains get for being ether TRI, or TRE, but your question was misleading as we do not have any non flying siminstructors.
