Etihad 767

Saw three EY aircraft at LHR yesterday all at the same time - 767, A340 and A330.

Didn't know they even had the 767. When did it arrive and what's it used for?

And was it at LHR to possibly cover for a broken airbus?

The EY767 is actually operated buy the Abu Dhabi Amiri Flight.

They operate one flight a week for Etihad, normally Damascus.
If seen in London it was probably performing an Amiri trip vs.
an Etihad one

I believe it has been released on a far more permanent basis now and will be conducting RPT for Etihad.

BKK Layover

Do you know anyone who is currently flying with EY, and possibly now flying with EY VIP? Do they have a VIP division and , if so, is it separate from mainline, or are the cabin crew from mainline used in VIP ops and vice-versa? Just curious.

(I know one guy who is ex-QR, and who possibly recently joined EY and I have kinda lost touch with him. I just wondered if he was now flying with EY VIP. I hope so. He was well qualified and worthy of the position)

Thanks
