F/O job in QR. Any Info anyone?
anyone flying in QR as F/O, can you give me the dope on
a)the life in QR, and the salaray package for F/Os
b)waiting in terms of years to get command if anyone (expat) joins the ranks right now.
c) i have just about 2000 hours airline F/O time (all efis 737 classic and NG) and ICAO ATPL. do i stand a chance? and with how much experience did you have when you guys got in?

Can you survive with this salary?
If the answer is... Yes! then I will try it!!! It is worth trying a different experience and living a different culture, As is not a bad airline, it has up's and down's like any other company & management, but you can still survive.
Up-grade? God only knows... and basically it depends on you! Qr is looking for experience & command-ability. So, it doesn't matter the type of aircraft that you are presently flying. If you are looking for a change in jobs it might be worth trying it! But,remember!!! Do not be discourage over some one else's bad experience! "live it or leave it"
