ek rostering
I couldnt find anything, but does anyone know how the rostering at EK works? Is it on seniority?
Can you bid for trips, or take what your given?

Fleets are divided into 5 groups, so as a F/O you will be in one of groups a-e. Within your group you will maintain your seniority of joining date. So each group will have from senior to junior within it.
The groups then rotate on a monthly basis so everyones group is top bid for at least 2 months a year.
It is probably about the fairest system i have seen, you get to bid for all your trips, days off, leave etc.
New "adopt" rostering system is going through its growing pains, hopefully it will be all ironed out soon.

I know that Pilots aren't the brightest in the world, but surely even they can figure out how a rostering sytem works
Or maybe they are too used to everything being spoon fed to them or pre arranged for them
