Hotel in Dubai

Dear Chums,

The family and I need to overnight in Dubai in August. We are looking for a nice hotel near to the airport. Now, I don't know Dubai at all, but I said to Mrs BH "I know a bunch of people who do"

Any suggestions that you can come up with would be most appreciated - feel free to PM me if you wish to avoid naming names or risking the wrath of the mods for 'advertising'!

Thanks in advance,

BH

well, lets see...Le Meridian, Al Bustan, The Millenium ( The airport hotel) come to mind. All are very close to Dubai Int'l and walking distance of each other. 5 star hotels, dont know the rates.

hope that helps a little.

JW Marriott gets my vote. Rates in August should be very reasonable, as no-one in their right mind would like to visit Dubai in +50C with a humidity in the 80s.
