Hotel in Dubai
 

Dear Chums,

The family and I need to overnight in Dubai in August. We are looking for a nice hotel near to the airport. Now, I don't know Dubai at all, but I said to Mrs BH "I know a bunch of people who do":D ;)

Any suggestions that you can come up with would be most appreciated - feel free to PM me if you wish to avoid naming names or risking the wrath of the mods for 'advertising'! :O

well, lets see...Le Meridian, Al Bustan, The Millenium ( The airport hotel) come to mind. All are very close to Dubai Int'l and walking distance of each other. 5 star hotels, dont know the rates.

JW Marriott gets my vote. Rates in August should be very reasonable, as no-one in their right mind would like to visit Dubai in +50C with a humidity in the 80s.
