Airport CT scanners

Is it possible in the UK to opt out of going through airport CT scanners as a commercial pilot? I would have thought that repeated exposure would be detrimental to health?

Thanks

The new airport CT scanners are used for carry on luggage. They wouldn‘t let you pass through them even if you beg for it.
