Biggest problem with CBD is that it does need "some" THC to work effectively. (Not enough to be psycho active).
However, the biggest issue is that you'll test "false" positive to THC/Cannabis. By false positive I mean the field test will ping positive but the lab test will confirm CBD, iso THC.

Yeah that’s been one of the trickiest parts here in the UK too. Even small traces of THC from full-spectrum products can show up on those field tests, which causes stress if you’re working somewhere with zero-tolerance policies.

I’ve ended up switching to medical cannabis through a legal cannabis UK clinic so that way everything’s prescribed and at it's place

this is a bit of an old post but honestly the struggle with CPL medicals is so real.

i was in a similar spot where i didn't want random doctors messing up my flight career chances with more notes.

i ended up going through Legacy Healing Center to talk to someone privately and get my mental health history organized properly.

just make sure whoever you talk to understands aviation standards so they don't use "trigger" words in your reports.
