imited second class medical

Anyone know or understand “limited second class medical”?

I have had heart surgery and I’m applying for a 2nd class medical. Initially the Fed’s denied wanting more information. But included with their denial is a suggestion for a “limited second class medical”. The form has options for Two Pilot Crew, Crop Duster, Flight Engineer.

So far “limited second class medical” is only mentioned once in the FARs.

*A limited second-class medical certificate refers to a second-class certificate with a functional limitation such as, "Not valid for carrying passengers for compensation or hire", "Not valid for pilot in command", "Valid only when serving as a pilot member of a fully qualified two pilot crew", "Limited to flight engineer duties only",

Any one had experience with this phenomena?

Sounds like you could not be PIC, under actual IFR if you were a CFII, and the other pilot is not current? For example.
