Question about EASA INITIAL Class 1

Is it advisable to perform LASIK eye operation in order to correct for myopia (even though is below the required limits set by EASA) before applying for INITIAL class one examination for the sake of getting rid of corrective lenses?
Or perhaps to perform the operation after grant of Med class1 ?

If you're planning on having done anyway be it either before or after a class one I would get it done beforehand. It would be disappointing to invest in flight training and then have it nulled after surgery
