Question CASA Class 3 & DVT

Hi Guys,

I am currently pursuing Trainee ATC and have reached the Telephonic Interview Stage. I have had DVT a few years ago and the clots are still there in my legs, no PE though. I have been told that I have to stay on Warfarin for the rest of my life. The INR stays within range while monitoring once a month and so far I enjoy an active lifestyle but have been advised No contact sports.

I have also written to the ATC recruitment regarding the same and they did not give a definitive answer saying that Class 3 certificate can be based on case to case scenario.

I am asking whether if anyone has experience in this matter and also what are my chances of getting a Class 3 if I clear all the steps of recruitment. I am just concerned if I am just wasting my and ASA's time on the whole thing when at the end I will be rejected for Class 3.
