Angina

I am awaiting confirmation of having Angina and if positive I understand I will have tablets or a spray to use in the event of an attack. My medical is due at the end of the month can anyone tell me how my Class 1 medical may be affected if the results are positive and if there is anything I can do to help?

You are required to let the CAA know of any change in your health status and any new medication.

This is the algorithm http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/2499/Coron...estigation.pdf you will need to follow. Make sure the cardiologist sees it so if they are not used to dealing with pilots they know what you will require to show the CAA.

Good luck.
