EASA & Medical Deviations

Hi Guys,

I'm worried.

My 5 year PPL expired this month. I received the replacement yesterday but there was a compliment slip with it that says.

"In our preparations for EASA transition the wording of your limitation has been updated.

Please destroy the medical certificate recently issued to you, as it is now invalid"

I'm about 90% of the way through a CPL so you can appreciate my panic.

Anybody else had anything similar? I'll phone them tomorrow but the suspense and not knowing is driving me nuts.

Hi CFG

What did CAA say to your new medical certificate, regarding your deviation?
