Arrow Bowel Cancer , Flight Crew increased liability

Can anyone give me any gen on the above article. I now have had this, had it chopped out and am now on Chemo. One of my mates on the squadron says he saw an article about this a while ago and I would like a sight/reference please. If I can prove a 1% attributable cause then I can get a Tax free pension out of the MOD along with a war pension. Can anyone help? I flew C130's for over 25 years, yes I'm deaf as well!!

Many thanks

Question

Are you able to continue flight duties having received treatment for bowel cancer, or does this cause you to be grounded?
